The Ellers is a luxury development
consisting of three spacious houses, on the urban fringes of
the city of Leeds, overlooking the romantic ruins of Kirkstall
Abbey and the Leeds and Liverpool canal.
Kirkstall is a town in the county of West Yorkshire, north of
Leeds and on the River Aire, and is only 3 miles from the City
Centre and a short drive from Bradford.
The views from The Ellers are remarkable and the spectacular,
picturesque ruins of Kirkstall Abbey, sought out by artists
such as JMW Turner can be seen from the
development. Kirkstall Abbey, set in grounds on the North Bank
of the River Aire, was originally founded in the 12th Century
by Cistercian Monks and as it remains today, is the most complete
example of early Cistercian design and building in the country. next
