The reclamation of existing timber
floors, or new veneered finishes to some rooms, enhance the
contemporary style of the properties, which will also benefit
from luxury German kitchens by ‘Nobillia’ incorporating
an extensive inventory of integrated equipment. There is even

suites continue the quality theme and feature chrome fittings
and a good choice of wall and floor tiling, where fitted. The
developers fully recognise the demands of modern day technology,
and there is a good provision
of telephone and television aerial points throughout.
A number of units feature potential for additional en-suite
facilities – available at additional cost.
As a place in which to live Ilkley has much to commend it. This
former Victorian spa town stands amidst the beautiful open countryside
of the Wharfe Valley, in the lea of the town’s famous
moors and is just a short drive from the Yorkshire Dales National
Park. The town centre is home to a first class shopping environment
with ‘high street’ shops rubbing shoulders with
more individual local stores. There is a good provision of social
and recreational amenities too with a cosmopolitan range of
restaurants, whilst sports clubs cater for golf, rugby, tennis,
hockey and squash. Healthcare and schooling for children of
all ages are available within the town, and for the commuter
there are excellent road links into Yorkshire and Lancashire
business districts. From the central railway station there are
frequent ‘Metro’ railway services throughout the
day into Leeds, Bradford and beyond.
